October - March 19:00-21:00 on Thursdays.
shooting at Laurence Jackson Sports Centre GNAS members only, coaching available, guests welcome.
Summer
April through to end of September, shooting at Guisborough Rugby Club Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1730 'til dusk, coaching available, GNAS members only including guests from any club who wish to shoot with us.
Fridays we shoot clout and target.
Pure carbon arrows are not allowed to be used on our outdoor venue as primarily it is a rugby field and they are not detectable with our metal detectors.
Beginners course
We run one beginners course a year, usually commencing the first week in May on Mondays, 18:00 - 20:00. weather permitting! The course consists of 6 two hour sessions over 6 weeks. This is a structured course so we ask all trainees are to attend all sessions. All equipment and handouts are included in the price of £35 and the course is run by qualified GNAS coaches.
all successful trainees will receive a certificate of competency and will be encouraged to purchase own equipment should they want to continue in our sport. Archers must affiliate to GNAS and pay club and shooting fees to be able to shoot on club nights.
