Club History

The club started in 1988 as Saltburn Archery Club and moved to Guisborough in 2000.  The Club then changed its name to Priory Archers.

We are a Friendly Club and shoot all disciplines of Archery.

Many of our members regularly take part in local tournaments and can boast an impressive collection of awards.

Within our membership we have two qualified coaches and two qualified assistant coaches.

We shoot during the summer months at Guisborough Rugby Club on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from April 1st.

During the winter months we shoot indoors at Laurence Jackson School sports hall from October 1st on a Thursday.

GNAS Archers are welcome to come and shoot as guests as many times as they like.

The club already has 35 Senior members and 5 juniors.

One beginners course is run every year in may lasting 6 weeks Minimum age is 10 Years ( See Diary for dates )
